hol training has ended. oh wells. missed the game playing training. it's okay. hope that you guys found some improvement in your court play at least. or even just an increase in stamina. :)
bowling on thurs! looking forward to it. :) can train arm strength and team bonding!
the reason why i came here, is to ask, NSL FINALS ANYONE?!?!? i really encourage all to go. it's a once in a year thing where you get to see all the good players and really good court play that will help to improve your own court play! really hope that all can go so that we can improve as a team together. can you all pls let me know who can go and who cannot? then we can make arrangements to maybe meet for dinner first?

i'm finally ready to post something encouraging for all you guys!

though till this moment, i still do not know wad went wrong during the game... shooters were in top shooting form, defenders were also doing fine... i feel like we really fought to the last second of the game! but i am, guilty of giving up at the last three seconds. believe me, i almost sat down near the side line. was alr taking off my bib. for this, i say sorry to all you guys who hard fough so hard...

bingg: you were playing superb man! i've never seen such wonderful throw-ins! thanks for making use of all throw-ins!

mel: the most tiring job of all defenders was given to you. and i'm glad you rose to the occassion. you played well against a GA that was our age and who made you run all over the place.

xing: i am totally amazed at your mental toughness. sometimes i wished i could have yours... hehe. and you played really well too! this whole season you have played at your peak. and yst, you made a really good pass to kai! see! if you control, you can have long and beautiful passes. hehe. and the interception at the centre pass that we so badly needed to tie, was beautiful.

regi: i think you did well for the first quarter. and you have got a strong mental toughness too! you were strong for the team after getting up from the stairs that we both went to after the match. no doubt i was the one who calm you down, i failed to stay calm myself...

iddie: you did well as a centre for the last 3 quarters! the passes were more accurate and you didn't hang the leg as much too!

pei: well well... your "first official game as a WA" i thought you have played before? -scratches haed- but oh well, you know better. :) but you still did well! and i love working with you for the centre pass in the third and last quarter! i think we really did trick them... hahas.

kai: i got back my shooting machine partner! you did a wonderful shot at dunno which quarter! i was really impressed! you shot well even when you were sick! and you managed to change your style of play for that day.

debbie: though you didn't play on that day, i think you are a really stable player. always so cool, so calm. i admire that!

jasmine: you did well for all games that you played in. your shots are improving yeah? keep it up! you make things so much easier for me some times!

al, sara: thanks for always being there by the sideline even if it means taking a cab down. you guys have been the best friends to the team ever! you guys are the most supportive non-sch players i've ever seen! work hard! i know you guys have the potential to make it!

now that this year's season is over, let's work hard for the next year! we've gotta work on staminar mans. definitely. jia you! let's make a come back as b div 06 and kick those asses that we didn't get to kick this year! i await to see us play at tp stadium next year!

1st of all , we have lost and gotten only top 8 nationals for 2005 . but there's still more to come . we have got pesta sukan , end of year carnival , daisy tan , and next year's bdiv'06 to win . buck up , train hard .

secondly , i would like to apologise for my play ytd . well , i couldnt believe tt my first official match to play WA happened ytd , on such a crucial match . mayb things could have been better off with debbie , alex , or the main 7 . i dont know .

3rdly , i'll be changing the song soon , to let us start afresh . but we will still be the ggems that started out in August 2004 (when all the silly names were created on a fine trng) and we'll continue to work as a team , ggems , to strive as a team , the mighty GGEMS .

actually, the desaru trip doesnt really matter to me. it's as if we're working SO hard, for the sake of going overseas !
i would prefer working REALLY hard, to get a spot up THERE. where the rest will be. together with our seniors.

normally I would have posted something, encouraging. But not this time. I hope that this will serve as a wake up call.
We worked so hard today for the first and second quarter. But what happened? We totally gave the game away! We went from four up to four down. Our passes became so bad!
WE were the ones who deserved this match
WE were the ones who worked damn hard for it, but
WE were the ones who totally gave the whole game away.
Top 4 was just two matches away, and now, it is still two matches away. Two hard matches. Top 4 is slipping out of our grip. We have to tighten our grip!
If we still want it, we have to work hard! Cut down on stupid mistakes that we are not supposed to make, like bad passes! If we still want top 4, we have to beat sss.
Do you guys realise wad losing today's game means? If you guys still don't see the danger that we are in now, wake up! I'm sure we want to tell others that we beaten sss! Come on! We've come this far, worked damn hard, I'm sure if we control our passes and play like how we played with northland, we can do it!
if we still want it, we have to do something bout it. We have to improve our play, our passes, our communication. I HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOU GUYS AS LONG AS WE PLAY OUR BEST!
I always say, "always do your best on court. As long as you have, you are a winner" but these two games, we have been losers... let's be winners for the next two games! SNNB C div is not just for show. We are good and we’re going to come back strong after today's fall!

sss, we haven't met before. you pple may think that oh, amk won them and we drew amk before so shouldn't be too bad. but a word of caution, they won rg by 10. and they are improving. they play almost as fast as st margs...

Yst is all over. I know we could have won. We did deserve the trophy more than ang mo kio did. We fought very hard in the last quarter and I’m so proud of you guys. Serious. I'm really proud that we managed to bring the scoreline to so little a difference. It was maybe just the matter of one stupid umpire. One bad call. One bad pass. One bad centre pass. One missed shot. But it's okay. We're gonna fight hard and we're gonna come back stronger for the nats k? I really miss the days during the pesta sukan. Or was it the year end carnival? Where everyone was so into trying to make ourselves inprove. Where we did evaluations, where everyone wanted to improve so badly. That was the time I think we really shone. life is nothing without you. if i had to drop something this year it definitely wouldnt be you. netball is my first love, my one and only. and you, the ggems, are what makes it possible. what is netball without a team? it is nothing. a player cannot wear all 7 bibs and pass to herself--that would lead to repossession. netball is a game where all players are strongly bonded, they know each other, they love the game, they work towards a common goal. they strive together, they go down together, they rise together. they know each other, they cheer each other on, and they PASS THE BALL.
the ball is like the glory. we share it. we dont keep it for ourselves. that is why.

Zonals are on tues! Ah! I'm full of excitement and anticipation... hope you guys share the same feelings too... we're gonna beat all the teams flat ya? Do I hear an amen? Hehe. I can't wait to start the competition... let's all work together as a team to kick some asses! Though not all ggems are in the team this year, I believe that we are still strongly bonded! Rmb that everyone is equally impt to boost the morale of the team and we can only function well when all is together and bonded, so everyone is equally impt! hello dears :) just came here to say, i'm glad we made it through today as a team ! although i didn't really play, my heart went out to you guys :) i absolutely treasure the times we spend together ! whether we win or lose, it's together :) you guys made my day, my week, my everything ! everyone please take care ! hey ggems! I’ve had soooooo much fun today! Really had a hell of a time... though it was very tiring... *sigh* think you guys don’t mind yah? I personally didn’t mind it... cause we have a common goal that we are working towards together! That makes training so much easier with everybody putting in their best to achieve that goal that we all have in mind. Seriously, I haven’t felt so bonded with such a large group of pple together before...
I just want to encourage everyone for this sun’s daisy tan carnival... though we are facing strong opponents like RGS and TKSG, I believe that if we work hard enough, we can do it! Must change our mentality k? like wad we always wanted last time... think we played well against the seniors today, keep it up! I personally felt that the team has improved so much since we started out... do I hear a yes? I promise you guys that I will be down before the RGS match okay? But if in any case I can’t be there in time, just give peiling a concussion... that should settle it... hehe.

yoz all my children. Hehe. Mamagems just want to say that the whole "reflections" thing after training is not supposed to be so solemn or so serious. It is supposed to be fun and interactive. But of course, there has to be a certain degree of seriousness in it... I’ve heard all your comments on fri and I think that you guys have got great comments. Just speak up a bit more k? The sessions are not out to make you guys unhappy, but they are supposed to make you happy. Cause you can give your comments and suggestions and improve the team! And if it is your own comments, you will put in the effort to make sure that it happens and when it really does happen, you will feel the satisfaction mans! Just as jx said, this whole thing has to be a team effort so let’s work as a team to overcome all these obstacles ya? Waiting to see you guys on mon! Meanwhile, keep on dreaming bout everything wonderful that can happen to the team!

Hey all daughters of mine... hehe. Erms, just wanted to say that you guys did well in today's training. During the run, I think I see pple improving quite a bit... [jia you] k? We must prove to coach that even if she wasn't here, we did not slack! And I'm sure regi won’t approve of that... -nods- and we must also show her that we did improve... the down the line ball work was super tiring but we made it! -triumphant look& punches the air with joy- thanks for not giving up defenders. Think today it showed that netball is really a team effort thing. the defenders work hard to bring the ball down and the shooters put the ball in. -hang my head in shame- admit that I myself gave away a few passes and shots... we must jia you k? The next time we do that, we must finish 8 goals in 30 mins k? Today we did it in 45 mins... so slow... but think we did a great job in defending the seniors too! I’m so looking forward to the next training!
